NOTICE OFA PUBLIC HEARING

ONPROPOSED 2026-2027 BUDGET

PLEASETAKE NOTICE that on June 25, 2026 at 5:00 o'clock p.m.,at the Jefferson Administration Offices, 5707 Williams Road, Newport,Michigan, the Board of Education of Jefferson Schools Monroe County,Michigan, will hold a public hearing to consider the District's proposed 2026-2027budget.

The Board may not adopt its proposed 2026-2027 budget untilafter the public hearing.  A copy of theproposed 2026-2027 budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, isavailable for public inspection during normal business hours at the JeffersonAdministration Offices, 5707 Williams Road, Newport, Michigan.

Theproperty tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budgetwill be a subject of this hearing.

This notice is given by order of the Board of Education.
