Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips

  1. When the chromebook is plugged in, what color is the light by the charging port?
    1. If no light, check for other charging port if it’s a Lenovo or else bring it in
    2. If light is red, leave it plugged in for 20 minutes and check it again
    3. If light is orange, it is charging
    4. If light is green it is full
  2. What if my chromebook stops responding or not working properly?
    1. Force restart the device by holding down the power button until it shuts down, then power it back on.
  3. What if my chromebooks dies as soon as it is unplugged?
